Oliver / Hatcher Construction constructed the new Livonia West Commerce Center 2 (LWWC2), a 365,000-square-foot industrial facility at the intersection of Amrhein and Eckles Roads on the former GM Delco Chassis Plant land in Livonia, Michigan.
The former GM brownfield site had environmental and topographical issues that were addressed before construction could begin. The new building is a cross-dock warehouse with 32-foot clear-height ceilings, 92 trailer docks, and remote parking. The new building is adjacent to Amazon’s facility at Livonia West Commerce Center, also built by Oliver / Hatcher Construction.
