Oliver / Hatcher provided CM services for the demolition and renovation of 180,000 SF office space in the Crossroads Buildings 1 and 2 at this location. The project required the complete removal of all existing wall partitions on each floor and complete reconfiguration of the interior spaces. Our team of relocation experts worked with over 11 different tenants to manage a complex schedule of temporary and permanent moves. The phased construction included three occupancy dates and several temporary moves of Wake County Board of Education employees.
The new interior spaces included common areas, offices, meeting spaces, a 3,300 SF data center with a raised floor system, and over 60,000 BTU’s of cooling capacity. The project also included a connector sidewalk and integrated communication systems that link the two buildings.
