S&P Global, formerly IHS Markit, specializes in data and analytics for the automotive industry. Their new office in Southfield, Michigan, was designed by Gensler and constructed by Oliver / Hatcher Construction, delivering a state-of-the-art workplace tailored to the company’s dynamic needs.
Oliver / Hatcher Construction has completed numerous projects within Travelers Towers, including this office build-out, the tower café, and a retail outlet. The newly completed 28,850-square-foot office features collaboration areas, meeting rooms, and private offices. Reflecting the spirit of Motor City and the automotive sector, the customer area showcases a distinctive matchbox car art installation.
Throughout the project, the OHC team navigated supply chain and logistics challenges. By implementing creative scheduling strategies, overlapping trade work, and conducting construction during off-hours, the team successfully maintained the project timeline and delivered a high-quality space.
