Oliver / Hatcher Construction is constructing a new 330,000 SF warehouse which will be the first building of the Flint Commerce Center (FCC). Formerly the General Motors Buick City site, the 350-acre brownfield site is being developed by Ashley Capital and when complete will create up to 3,000 jobs for the community.
The building will offer a state-of-the-art precast construction design, 32′ clear height, LED lighting, 65 dock doors, trailer staging, and an ESFR sprinkler system with K-34 heads.
The groundbreaking for Building 1 was held in June 2023 and was attended by Gretchen Whitmer and additional national, local, and state representatives to celebrate the historic new project. Read more about the FCC Groundbreaking Ceremony here.
