S and P Global, formerly IHS Markit, is an expert at information gathering in the automotive industry. Their new offices in Southfield, Michigan were designed by Gensler and the Oliver / Hatcher team completed construction on a new state-of-the-art workplace.
OHC has completed dozens of projects within Travelers Towers, including this office, as well as the tower cafe and retail outlet. The new 28,850 SF office features a unique mix of collaboration spaces, meeting rooms, and private offices. In the spirit of the MotorCity and their industry, the office has a matchbox car artwork installation in the customer area.
The Oliver / Hatcher team experienced supply chain and logistics challenges during the duration of the project. Creative scheduling, overlapping of trade work, and construction during off-hours helped keep the project on schedule.
